Shipping a subwoofer would probably cost more than $25 based on their size and weight.

Actually it would probaly be cheaper, i think you could do 120 miles UPS for about $20-$25 for that sub and Ground would get it there overnight. I just purchased a cambridge soundworks bass cube 12 s from a guy in rhode island and the shipping to me in maine cost $26 This sub weighed over 56lbs minus the shipping box.

I think shipping for anyone that is interested would be less then $20, probably 10 bucks if your in the surrounding states. I think the price shipped for the JL stealth package that I just bought that hsould be arriving in a couple hours cost the guy 16 bucks and the total weight was 41lbs. I will consider shipping and get pics this afternoon hopefully. I'll get it packaged and weighed and put the measurements into UPS.com to get a more accurate quote later also.

Considering you recieved it from someone else have you put any power to it and given it a good check over?. wouldnt want to have you ship it only to find it had been damaged by the previous owner or previous shipping experience.
btw zip is 01915 for specific shipping costs
