Hiding under cover until mid-March or so. Very few around here drive their S2000's in the winter.

I always drive all my cars year round. A good set of winter tires and a couple coats of wax before the super cold weather kicks in and I'm good to go. It's been pretty cold lately so I even took her through a car wash the other day. I know... know...you're not supposed to...but it was just too cold to wash it without the water freezing on the paint. It's a pretty nice car wash. Got the undercarriage cleaned and a good wipedown afterwards. The car looked great....no scratches......and the top only leaked one drop. I wiped that up with a dunkin donuts napkin and I was on my way.

We bought ours as a summer car. We've still manged to put 39K miles on it, over four summers!

Hey, don't forget to sign up for the Nor'Easter. Large, fun, event in MA in August. Don't miss it! Registration will be up soon.

Here's some info:

OK, we have a little reception on the Friday evening. You meet and mingle with S2000 owners from all over the place. In 2006, we had folks from OH, VA, CA, PA, NJ, NY, MA, VT, NH, RI, WV and more.

On Saturday AM there is a show and shine....show off your car, show off your audio system, whatever, there will be prizes at dinner.

On Saturday afternoon there will be various drives to check out local scenery. They will not be Ba$$L to the wall drive..., but still very enjoyable. Saturday night there is a banquet.

On Sunday, some will gather at the outdoor F1 track, and on Monday, some will gather at a "real track" in NH.

A full weekend! All events are not yet finalized. Keep your eye on the Nor'Easter forum, and be sure to register when registration is open. We all had a blast last time.
