Post IT'S COMING....

Well I can talk about it now. We had some dust (SNOW) on top on the mountains here in the Valley yesterday and a hard frost last night 24 degrees F BRRRRR. So I guess it's officially Indian Summer here, whatever nice days we get from now on will be freebees, then stick season. Time to put our car to bed soon (after the MT ride we hope) and take out the skis and also start mountain hiking to get into shape for the upcoming season. Can't wait! I know some of you out there don't like these word but thats why I moved up here ..... flurries, flakes, sleet, snow and the big BLIZZARDS WOO HO Any VT. skiers or riders out there?

Lou,

I don't care for ANY of those words, snow, sleet, flurries, etc.

We hope that you and Carol enjoy plenty of ALL of the above, but please, keep it in Vermont, OK?

Hope you get enough good weather to enjoy the "S" and head down for the Mohawk drive.

Lainey

PS It was pretty cool here this A.M. too, frost and all!

Had to scrape the windows of the Ranger the past 2 mornings, even had the woodstove going last night. On the other hand it is supposed to be near 70 Fri., so I think I'll leave the hardtop off for a bit longer.

Once my S is away I can spend more time on my other toy, because the snow makes it 10x more fun

I've never been skiing in my life, but I play in the snow on my 4-wheeler

Need to get my boards waxed and tuned and I will be ready! Hey Lou, what mountain did you say you worked on?? Was it Sugarbush? Stowe?

Anyway I am pretty much subjected to day runs. So Mt. Snow or once in a while Killington. =( No time to enjoy the snow.

BTW, please don't talk about snow too much we have the Mohawk drive in two weeks.

I live snow in-between Sugarbush and Mad River Glen and do snow most of my skiing at these two snow areas, last year I slid between snow 60-70 days and trying for 100 this year. snow But we also like to spend snow time on our snowmobiles yahoooo.

We have our fingers snow crossed that we have fair weather for at snow least the next two weeks snow.

Sorry I can't help it .... Freudian slip-n-sliding

No snow on Stratton yet but it's coming. It was in the very low 30's this morning when I left for work. I took the S today but I drove very carefully due to the cold temps. I'm looking forward to snow also like Lou said this is why we live up here in the great white north.
