Integra won't start

dizzy is short for distributor. Yeah, it seems if something happens that prevents the coil from discharging, or even creates too much resistance to a discharge, the built in coil will fail. The little coil costs $100 at the auto parts store and the ICM costs like $150. I can't believe how much the ignition components cost on these cars.

I would think if it was that worn there would have been other signs like misfires, stumbling throttle, irregular idle and CELs.....
Must have happened pretty quickly.

Hey Steve, do you rent out the LeBaron? Chris may need a rental for a few days.

Battery charged and car would not start. We then did all the electric/electronic tests and found a bad fuse. The coil and ICM tested out ok and now I know how to use the multitester! Changed the fuse and it started up. I returned the defective cap and rotor and got a refund. Chris says the car runs better and with the new exhaust, cap and rotor. It sounds quieter too.
Thanks for your help, everyone.
