intake manifold bolts WTF!

intake manifold bolts WTF!
So I removed all the top ones with ease but having trouble getting at the bottom ones. Just wondering what you guys use to get at them. Thanks

Thank you. That will help. I thought there may be an easier way to get at those bolts but guess not. That is the way I was doing it. It is not as easy as it looks. Anyway I found out that you can move the manifold out of the way without going through the process of disconneting everything. All that is needed is enough room to clear the head. Just need to get those bottom bolts out and I am golden other than that everything is going smooth

you need to use an extention 10 inch, and a wobble head. that is for the 3 middle ones, the one in the front i use a 3 in extension, and slide it in there then put the ratchet on and losen it up..... the back on by the fire wall is a bi%ch, I find it easier to remove the egr and slide a 12 mm wratch in there. it's not easy I have also used a big extention and gotten that back bolt out but anyway you do it is not fun... sorry

got the bolts out today! thanks for all the tips, went out and got a wabble head with a longer extension and bingo, out they came. Now i just have to worry about putting them back in did a few other things as well. engine bay is cleaning up nicely.

The wobble extension rules...
Always the first thing I reach for. Allows you to use your whole socket set, regular and deep, all sizes...gives as much offset as a universal socket...limits the "droop" of the socket before you get it on the bolt...gotta love it.
