Insurance question.

Insurance question.
I'm thinking of getting a S2000, preferably '02 for the glass rear window and 2.0L motor. I have a '88 Rx-7 turbo right now, and am fed up of putting money into it(mods) without insurance covering it. I guess what im trying to say is, its too easy to "total" that car from a insurance standpoint.
I am thinking of getting an S2000, but am curious of what the insurance premium is, and what insurance company are good from experiance. I pay $2000 right now, with the garage being in Marlborough, and my residence in Boston. I'm 21 and at step 12. One speeding ticket(supposidly 1st one is free on insurance) and no accidents. If you have full coverage, I am curious what your premium is.
If you can state your:
Age
Location
Year of the car
Step
Insurance history(accidents, STEP)
Coverage
And your premium,
That would be great. Thanks

Dave,
Best way is to contact your insurance company/agent and ask them. The "S" is a high risk car as far as the insurance company is concerned and is rated accordingly. It's expensive to insure.
We have very good coverage, Vintage people with Step 9 driving records. We pay about $1500.00.

isn't auto insurance in MA supposed to cost the same across companies?
i recently started w/ amica. best customer service. best rate, too.
agents told me that the s2000 is a "high risk" car...meaning that crap always happens to it and that it's expensive to repair...hence, high insurance premium.

This is all from memory, so it may be off a bit. I'll update it when I re-insure my car this weekend/next week.
Age: 31
Location: Mansfield, MA
Year of the car: 2000
Step: 18 (I think... I know as of last year it was a step or two above neutral still)
Insurance history: Perfect driving record all my life until I moved to Boston and promptly totaled two cars within a year about 3 years ago.
Coverage: Not entirely sure, I go in and ask to insure my car to the level which is required by vehicles with a lease or loan on them even though my car is paid for. I had a $500 deductable.
Premium: About $1500 a year, but I paid close to half of that since I pulled the car off the road completely for the winter.
