I see, okay well I hope it works out. I put about 10 pounds on it and it was okay. We will see how rehab goes.

But sound of not doing certain motion scares me haha. I guess better be cautious then in pain.
I don't think that issue applies to you. Besides, if it did, you're a "tad" younger. They would recommend surgery. Hey they recommended surgery for Jerry and heck he's old.....

What I'm worried about is doc took off my brace after 5 says. told me to start putting pressure and bending the knee.

After doing 10 reps of leg lifts, I have about 60 degree motion my knee swelled up, I couldn't put weight on it again or move as much. That's with burning hot feeling under the skin, feels lime knee is cooking.

However Everywhere I seem to read they say keel brace on for 3 to 4 weeks before rehab for soft tissue to heal.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Docs have their own treatment and PT protocols.

Did the doc set you up with PT?

Remember ice is your friend, and keep your leg elevated.

Not sure about that burning hot feeling, is that new?.......call your doc and mention it.

Why didn't MyS2K update me you posted? Weird it started doing this a while back.

Anyways hot feeling is normal, It's inflammation. Just ice it 4 times a day. Came back from PT today.

Just now finished doing my Knee Cap Work Outs. Hurt little. Inflammation is still there. PT told me MRI will tell me if I need an operation, if I do pain 24/7 will be all over again! She also made a "O MY" face when she saw the movement in my knee cap on the other leg.

I guess my condition is better then the Torn ACL Professional Soccer Player next to me had when I was at Physical Therapy. Her knee was HUGE, they also not contracting her, but paying for her medical bills. Her operated knee looked crazy, however she took it like a champ. Real Positive attitude, I need to be that positive.

MRI Results:

- Lateral Colleteral Ligament is ripped.
- Patella (Knee Cap) and bone on the inside really bruised (Swelling)
- Slight damage to Meniscus with little fluid build up
- Bruise on the caff is from internal bleeding (Normal)

Small knee brace will be used starting on Tuesday 3/2.
Bruising should be gone in 4 to 6 weeks from now.
Recovery at PT will be needed to keep the knee from freezing up but not much tension should be put on it for awhile.

If this happens again in the future, the Lateral Colleteral Ligament will be reattached by doing an operation. However for now we will try to deal with out it.
