I pitched a total of 1/3 innings in my career.
it wasn't pretty and that was with a good knee.
Tell me about this career? Which team?

How's the knee today?

That's nothing. Someday Rick will show you his shoulder scar. X3. They almost put a zipper in there.

Actually, it's amazing the work they probably did through those little holes....

Retractor, please!

How is it today?

I've been maintaining a fairly steady regimen of drugs so it really hasn't been hurting too much.
Of course I haven't done anything much either.

That is a wise choice. You heal better/faster if you are not fighting pain. Better to take the meds for the first couple of days, before you "need" them.

That's what my sister, the nurse, tells me anyway. She's got a lot of initials after her name, and used to manage a surgery center, so I guess she knows what she is talking about.

She's the ambitious one in the family.

My first appt is Monday morning but I'm already into it.

Saturday the PT chick at the hospital gave me my first 6 exercises.
simple stuff, ankle extension quad sets leg lifts, range of motion, etc.
I have to pace myself, I tend to push to hard and go backwards.
right now range of motion is a whopping 45 degrees.
