Hasn't it been said that in the last few years CT and MA have started sharing their DMV records with each other? If that's the case, your insurance will probably find out about it, and CT might have a shot at suspending your license for failure to pay.

Unfortunately CT participates in the interstate program where MA will notify your state of the violation and they will not permit you to register your car or renew your driver's license. I found out the hard way, my daughter got a parking ticket in MA, she did not pay it, the car was registered in my name so I had to pay up or I could not renew my driver's license in NH.
Very few states do not participate in this program, NJ is the only one I remember. I suggest you pay up and avoid the hassles that you will face. I ended up taken a day off work to go and straighten the mess out and I only had four days to do because of the expiration date on my license.

i have about 8 unpaid parking tickets from Wesleyan Univ. in CT from about 3 years ago. I have another 2 from North Beach in Hampton, NH. I didn't have a problem getting a license in MA. (switched from NH to MA a few months ago). Also never had a problem registering the cars in NH or MA. I think the Wesleyan tickets are from campus security so they probably don't report to the state.
