July. There used to be a big christmas sale at Crazy Eddie's until he went to jail, but I still like to keep up the tradition.

If we have an office Christmas Party, we usually have it in April, partly because some people don't want to wait until July. We've found that if you have the Christmas party in April, more people want to come and they like to stay late. This time of year is a bust because everyone wants to go home or go shopping and no one wants to do any heavy drinking. And in July, most people want to go on vacation and have no use for Christmas. So we have to cater to their wishes.

Tomorrow, we celebrate "Festivus". The fam looks forward to the "airing of grievances" at dinner time. That warms everybody up for the "feats of strength". The party usually breaks up after "feats of strength" since usually someone has to go to hospital or is given a ride to the police station. At that point, everybody else is just fuming, and it puts a damper on further festivities.

I like the Christmas in July thing. You're right, people have a lot going on right now. Which is why I'm on the computer..

Bumping for holiday celebrations. My niece is in from NC, and I'm supposed to go to my sister's tonight to visit and meet my new grand niece. I found out last night, that this "event" includes some of my brother in law's family members, a few family friends all fine people, but this means about 25 people squished into a mobile home. I will be seeing my niece later this week for lunch.

Something tells me I should come down with a headache tonight.

Well that could work. I'll tell the family I need to visit a sick friend.

I want to see my niece and her children. We've been quite close over the years, it's the other 22 people I could do without.

To your picture I say this:
