I have pulled the intake mani about 10+ time I use three wobbles two short ones and a 3 inch extension with wobble for that back bolt it creates just the right curve to go under the egr valve and have ur ratchet at a place to get it easily. And take off the wire harness back there also just gives u that extra room to fit your hand. For the next from the back on the bottom I use a long extension and go at it from the bottom the ratchet will be back by brake lines pm me and I will give u my number if you have any questions or if ur in the east side of ct I can swing by.

Picked up at Sears today a 7-pc universal wrench set. They are black mat finish. Opinions? Crap and return?

Along with 2 1/4" extensions and u joint. Not seen the wabble extensions.

I think I am putting further work on hold till I get extra help.

Keep in mind that 10 guys will likely come up with 6 or 8 different ways to remove a difficult bolt. There's no right way, it's a matter of finding a way to use what you have available to "get'r done."

Spray the bolts with WD-40 or equiv. Let sit overnight.

Ok update GOOD NEWS. SORT OF!

2 bolts 12MM that are under the intake tubes are OUT!(closest to firewall) Used a 1/4 MM extension with a U joint adapter. Basically amazed myself there.

Though the 2 14MM that are under the TB are FUSED IN THERE!!!!! I have some dents in my hand to prove it. The 14MM that is to the other support took some serious work to get out! I still have to get that other support that you get from under the car.

So looks like I still need some help but it's only 3 bolts! PB Blaster going on again and again!

Anyone want to come over one night this week to help me jam this out?
