Default Honda King Boston Ma

I need to have my car looked at for a CEL, ive got a misfire and a 1399. Anyone ever go to Honda King in boston? Or does anyone know of any other good master honda techs in the boston area. Everytime I go to the stealership they can never fix my problems and charge me way too much.

1399 is also a misfire code .

If you have the ability , I would change all your plugs first with a fresh set .

Other things to look for

Loose plugs
Vac leak
Compression test

Those are things to start with

How many miles on the car ?

I have changed the plugs numerous times, also have all new coils. Made this post regarding this prolem https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=740287

I know that 1399 is a random misfire code, I wrote this post quick before a meeting, sorry for the confusion.

Twiztid, you actually were the one that did the valve adjustment, I have the 02 berlina that was @ ballistic a few weeks ago.

The car has about 94k right now.

How would I go about checking for a vac leak, one of the shops I called today thought that could be the problem.

What changes, if any, did you make to the car right before the CEL came on?

Good question. Our CEL came on not that long ago. Turns out my little off roading trip in the grass, caused a little issue with some kind of hose....easy fix at local shop. Pulled the code and made the repair for $84.00.

I didn't make any changes to the car before the CEL came on. However I did put a test pipe on the car about 7k or 10k miles before I first had CEL/missfire issues. I took the tp off a few weeks ago and I still have been having missfire issues.
