Default Hit a turkey

Visiting the inlaws in upstate NY for he holidays when luck would have it... A turkey flew into the Subaru. I got lucky that it didn't hit the windshield. Took off the mirror and left a nice dent in the door along with some scratches. Why can't anything be easy? Now I have to hassel with insurance. Yes the state police showed up and filed a report.

obviously the bird doesn't know the difference between thanksgiving and Christmas.

and you're right about not hitting the windshield.
depending on your speed that could have been very bad.

Speed was around 50. We couldn't find the bird.
