Hit and run should be covered under comprehensive, not collision. Is your comprehensive deductible $500?

Keep in mind also if you file an insurance claim, it's going to show up on carfax.

Ben, anytime you car is struck it falls under collision. Learned this the hard way.

Vandalism yes as long as its a cut roof or a keyed door. If the car is struck like dimitry's in the pic above than it falls under collision.

I got hit and run covered under comprehensive twice, but whatever...

It may not matter anyway b/c he probably has the same deductible on both
