Just got myself back up. I am VERY sleepy.

Everything went smooth. I feel a little queezy right now. I still can't feel my leg.

Steph is taking good care of me though. I am going to lay back down now

How you doing today, Jeff?

Did they give you one of those ice cooler things to keep the swelling down? If so, use it, it makes a HUGE difference.

I'm hurting badly today. Whatever numbing stuff they gave me yesterday has worn off. On the old 1-10 scale of pain, I am at about 8-9. I just took a couple of percoset and it took the edge off a bit which is good. They make me loopy though and I don't like that though.

They did give me the ice pump and I am using it. Steph is heading out now to get a few more bags of ice for it.

I can't wait until this is over, that's for sure. I am a big baby when it comes to this

The tough guys fall hard sometimes. We went through a TON of ice with the ice cooler thing, but keeping swelling down makes things more comfortable.

Rick didn't like the pain pills either....but often they advise you to take the pills BEFORE you feel the pain, that way you are not "chasing the pain."

You didn't get any oxycontin? That surgery must have been the equivalent of surgery for a hang nail. Buck up boy!

Seriously, feel better SOON!. The first couple days post op are the most uncomfortable. Hang in there!

Jeff are you allowed to drink? A few cocktails will hide the pain well.

Not sure if it conflicts with your medicine though.
