so I got the sensor today, came from work, installed, checked the wire (the best I could taking to consideration that you can't see it) started the car and about 10 minutes later the check engine light came back on....same code

I just have the same problem engine light and revs droping and shuting off at time losing power then gaining like it about to die but fights back. mines 03 with just over 60k took it to honda paid 260 buck for them to check it they where stumped to the point they finally just droped a new engine in it. this was a month ago. my 06 had the same problem it was a coil pack and cam retainer that needed replaced.

update:
hooked up the HDTC (fancy Honda scanner) and reseted the code. Prior to that I have turned the e-manage off just to see what it would do.
Started the car, drove for about 10 miles, came back to the shop and turned the e-manage back on and took it for another spin, runs like a champ.
Apparently the newer ECU's store two codes (hard and soft). The soft code is the one that I was resetting not the "hard" code. Which was news to me, I guess we learn new things each day.
Just as an FYI.....the car runs like a PIG without the e-manage.
