How bad is the damage? Max (Speedfreak) "might" be able to fix it, but if the weave is ripped, there's no way to make it perfect again.

It's probably like a 1 inc. crack across the hood and little chip on the edge that about it...how much would it cost though? just a roughly estimate..

I don't know how much this would cost... but it "sounds" like it is repairable. You may have only damaged the clear coat/epoxy. What I can tell you is... the clear coat/epoxy would need to be removed in that area, and new clear coat applied. But it will be difficult to have this done perfectly with not being able to tell it was repaired. Max has fixed chips in my CF hood before and he did an excellent job. But I didn't have any "cracks".
