Thumbs up Have you ever actively campaigned?

OK, I don't want to hear political beliefs or preferences here. This is not a debate, and I don't want any political discussions here.

I'm just curious.

Have you ever felt strongly enough about a candidate, any candidate to hold a political sign on a street corner, volunteer at the polls, allowed a BIG sign to be placed in front of your house, put a bumper sticker on your car?

Often, the whole political campaign thing ends up making me

So no discussions on who you want to win tonight, or in 2012, just answer the question, please.

Hi Lainey.

Interesting that you'd ask this question without expecting some political blow-off. In any case, my answer is no. I've considered bumper stickers at times over the years, but they're not my kind of "mod."

Well I'm hoping anyway...I am curious. Many of us banter about with our political views, but are any of us serious enough to devote time to the candidate we think can change things.

JT has....anyone else.

Oh Bass who did you give money to?

Nice to see you Charlie.

Back at ya', Lainey...

One thought... I don't believe that campaigning and holding signs necessarily equates to believing in a candidate, Lainey. Personally, I don't like the traditional means of participating...

To be honest, when I see people holding signs and telling me what they think I should do I usually end up thinking mostly "get a job."

I hid behind a sign once in the center of town. A friend of the family was campaiging for something. He won and he has continued an upward movement over the years. He's been in his current position for quite some time though.

I don't know..if you aren't planning to vote for the guy/gal whose sing you are holding, why stand out on the street corner? I know there are other methods to support your candidate, but that is an "in your face" way of supporting them.

BTW, I HATE, HATE that they allow these sign holders to congregate at busy intersections. Most distracting!

You surprise me Lynda. That does not sound like a "Lynda" thing to do. Not so sure you were supposed to be hiding though.
