Post Guys, I need some help in Feb.................

Just wanna solicit some help from my NE people.

I am planning to move into my new house in late Feb. Basically, I need to move my bed, a few office cabinets and boxes. No kidding, not many stuffs to be moved at all!

Last time I moved from my condo to my parents' house, I gave them most of my furnitures, so they could give their old ones away.

This time I plan to buy new furnitures for my new place. Therefore, my moving is gonna to be easy.

Unfortunately my passat is not big enough to put my bed and mattress in it. Renting a pickup for so little furnitures and stuffs seems like an overkill.

Oh, the driving time is about 30mins to the new place. Even the trip is short.

If anyone would volunteer to help out, it will be appreciated.

I will throw in beers, a back rub (by the massage chair)......to sweeten the deal.

We are talking about a few hours of your time and your truck. The date is not set yet, it depends how fast I can get my place painted and prepped for the moving. I will certainly update this asap.

LMK if you are interested to give me a hand on this!

dude - DO NOT OFFER BACK RUBS IF YOU EXPECT GUYS TO HELP YOU!!!

I don't have a truck but i will certainly help you move - you're best bet if you can't find a truck would be to rent one from Home Depot as they only charge 20 an hour

Oops....

$20? Boy, I didn't think of that.

I am thinking the most time I will need is about 2 hours.

BTW, thanks Steve.

You can always go to a ford dealership and ask them to take a pick up on a test drive...

then just use it and bring it back at the end of the day

Good idea, Steve. We can go and pick up a sheet of plywood and use the truck for moving.
