Default Good places to drive around Boston

You guys know any good twisty roads, fun places to go for a cruise within like a 30 min radius of the city?

Silver,

I live downtown and I've found my favorite nearby drives for blowing off steam are: 1) the western fellsway up in the Malden/Stoneham area; 2) the loop formed by rt 16 in Somerville, freshpond parkway in Cambridge, and Starrow in Boston (93 north forms the remainder).

I like these because these routes are 2 lanes in each direction and curvy. Try these early in the morning on a saturday or Sunday for best results.

Storrow Dr., Mass Pike between W. Netwon and Newton Corner (free and hardly ever traffic enforcement), Waltham around Winter St, Memorial Dr., Route 1 Dedham, Chikotaubet (sp) area in Milton, and off of Route 2 near Hanscom AFB.

for a place with great condition roads, low traffic volume and plenty of curves i love the entire town of dover (one traffic light!). policing is moderate and usually with radar, also, all the roads through the blue hills in milton, but be careful as the state police patrol these and do not use radar. not a pleasant surprise coming the other way on a fast curve. good luck, have fun, wear your seatbelt and always obey the posted speed limits!!! bob.
