Hi Guys

I used to have an S in the UK, sold it 6 months ago before moving out to Boston. For various reasons I had to get something sensible so I ended up with a 540i sport, good fun but boy do I miss the Honda

North of Boston is the town of Marblehead. The road around M'head Neck ,early in the AM, is a good one. Rt1a from Hampton Beach NH , just over Ma border, to Portsmouth Nh is very good if done before the tourists arrive. The far end of Rt 2 in Ma. is also good. NES2KO has had club drives on it in the past. Check schedule for drives. Welcome to the States!!

Near Boston, there aren't really many good roads to drive. Storrow Drive between Boston and Watertown is pretty good and police patrol is fairly light. Aside from that, there are short stretches of twisty back roads here and there:
- Blue Hill Reservation off of Furnace Brook Pkwy. in Quincy. You can get there by taking Exit 8 off of I93. (~8 mi. south of Boston)
- Various back roads off of VFW Pkwy in the West Roxbury area. The back roads that take you to the Chestnut Hill and Brookline areas are particularly nice. The road through Frankin Park Zoo is nice, though you can't really speed through there. (~5 mi south west of Boston)

Welcome to Boston! A long shot, but is your 540i by any chance red?

You are not alone in driving a German car here, so don't be shy about attending meets because you no longer have an S2000. We have enough German cars here that we formed our own RGCC (Red German Car Club) within this forum.

Here's a quick run down on our fast growing member base
Legal Bill - E90 330i (red)
jtpassat - E46 M3 (red)
Rosso - S4 (red)
Me - 987S (red)
Ray K. - A4 (silver)
dojo_s4 - S4
darthhonda - A4 (silver)
CHIX RULE - A4 (silver)
bluesea - 540i (silver)
Sam - E39 540i (blue) + Mini Cooper

So again, don't be shy about joining us for various meets. In time we German car owners shall take over this forum as our own.
