For the life of me I can't think of the name of it, but there's a college in NH that is very well known for it's pilot training program. Maybe Daniel Webster College? If it comes to me, I'll post it.
Good luck, and as they say "keep the shiney side UP!"

My boss was previously a commercial pilot. He still flys small planes for fun (bunch of guys at work jointly own one) and is also an active instructor. Helicopters are a different thing, I think, but if you still have any questions for him I can ask for you or get you in touch with him. I have known him for years and I can tell you he was not happy doing this for a living. He said it got boring after a while, doing the same exact thing over and over again. Also, I'm pretty sure you need good "basic" math for anything related to flying.

Also, on the Cape, they hire pilots to spray the cranberry bogs.
the flight commander thing sounds fun too. but it's a job where you can never make a mistake. basically they have to amke sure the planes that are flyong are not too close to each other. that's where the math( accounting is the major math course) comes into play when they have to figure out the altitude of the planes.

Have you even flown before? I have about 30 hours behind the stick of various two seater, single engine planes.. It's a lot of fun Being a commercial pilot doesn't sound like fun to me though.. no control. Its like driving a tank vs a nimble S2000.
