My first time ever drag racing at a track and I loved it. I made a fool of myself on the first pass by burning out right past the tree and the announcer made fun of me by saying something like "you can buy an S2000, but you can't buy a clue". I got so nervous that I ended up running a crappy 14.7 on that run. So, I got so pissed at the guy I had to show him better and ended the day with a 14.2 pass at 99.12 MPH
Now I definatly have the bug and will MAKE SURE I am in the mid to low 13's by seasons end.
BTW, wanted to say thanks to TWIZTD, who recomended the 7500 RPM launch.

I decided not to enter the brackets. It was starting to rain and the lines were SOOOOO long. I figured that I wasn't going to chance waiting for 2 hrs in line to get rained out. They ended up calling it after one round anyway because it poured.
I plan on going back up for a test and tune night in two weeks. Should be able to get like 15 passes at least in only a few hours.

I was in the Car show with my car and some guy came up and told me that I had a nice Miata. I was like Its not a Miata its a Honda..
Then another one came by with his girl..She even knew it was an S2000! Then Her man was like its the S type..I was like what! Because I have taken off the 2000 on the side and just left the S...Some people these days..
But the best part of the day, was when I was parked next to my friends Civic that had S2000 taillights and 2 little boys came up and knew exactly what they were and were they had came from..they even knew about the BMW tail's on my other friends Civic..we were floored..
It was nice to see you all yesterday Can't wait for the BBQ!!
