As for the text to speech lots of customers love it or don't need it. dak trukkie is right, look at the screen. I have the magellan 1200 which is compared to the nuvi 200 and it's easy to understand looking at the screen. to each is own.
we have eyes that require glasses to read.
personally I've found driving with reading glasses is a challenge I like to avoid.
I got the biggest screen I could find when I bought mine, but it's still tough sometimes.

bluetooth is great for hands free calling

not so much in the S though
I have to agree, when the top is down, it is more difficult to hear and the wind noise does come over to the other end of the conversation when you talk.
Sometimes it is just best to pull over to conduct your call.
But then again when the roof is up, there is nothing like it.

Can you say Bi-focals? they have them without lines now, so no one has to know you are wearing Bi-focals.

If I told you I had a pair of bi-focals would you believe me?

You don't need to be old to need help reading.

My glasses are quad focals, given that I'm blind in one eye and only need a distance lens on the other. You'd think they'd only cost 1/4 of full glasses, but no such luck.

As I was typing this, I just heard on the news that Hormel is reporting higher than expected sales of SPAM.

nah

I can see distance fine. it's just up close I'd need those half lens old man glasses.
but if your driving and trying to crank you head up so your seeing through the bottom of the glasses you look like a giraffe trying to get to the branches.
