A friendly synthetic wax discussion
Ok, all you Zaino users out there - is this too biased and do you have any comments or arguments I should add?

You bring up a few good points on cost, time, level of effort. But do they last or have a better shine over one another???
I bought my S last winter and before putting her through the elements I used Z2,Z6,Z2,Z6,Z2,Z6. Put on about three layers of Z2 and throughout the year put on a few coats of Z6. I washed my S last Saturday for the first time of the year and still the water beads off like a MOFO and it is shiny as hell still. Waiting for the weather to warm up a little more and I will put on another 3 coats.
So for me to switch over to Klasse all in one, it would have to be literally an all in one application, last as long, and keep a quality shine as Zaino. Cost is no object for my mistress! Maybe when I run out of Zaino I could try it.
Also I do not use ZFX because I wait for a nice day and just wait 30 minutes between Z2 application.

Haven't tried Klasse, Chip. I do know that I was astonished when I started using Zaino. You're right about it being a different world.
To me, the biggest advantage of synths is the durability. I have no idea if Klasse can stick as long as Zaino, but I wouldn't go back to wax in a million years.
Nice, thoughtful page though.

I have not seen it in stores. I think there are a number of online retailers that sell it. It's been a while, though...
http://www.zainostore.com takes you to their homepage, I believe.

Just FYI, SportsCarCare.com is not an authorized retailer of Zaino products - I believe that Sal requires that his distributors sell ONLY Zaino products, and the market for Zaino is really quite small (I sell 25 bottles of other brands to 1 bottle of Zaino). Although I have the products on my site, I originally purchased with the main intention of selling to my S2K buddies here in NE and NY. I keep the products in stock but buy and sell at cost for my friends that use Zaino as a matter of convenience to them.
