Default Free Stuff thread

Here's the idea: We all got stuff we don't want or need anymore and others here might be able to use it. So let's have a thread where we offer stuff that we have lying around. I'm not saying you can't try to sell your stuff, but if you'd just like to see something with some value go to someone you know, post it up.

I'm sure some of our more colorful members will advertise their used underwear or empty under-arm deoderants, thinking they are very clever to have thought up such a humorous idea, but let's try to keep this to stuff you think folks may actually need.

Please do not take free stuff with the idea you can sell it here or on Craigs list or e-bay, unless you tell the giver your plan to sell the item and they are ok with it. Alternatively, if you don't care if the taker turns around and sells your item here or elsewhere, please say so.

Shed clean out.

My old push mower with a de-thatching blade (not running). If you want a cutting blade you will have to buy one. The engine has tightened up. It still turns with a wrench, but it is going to need to soak in some Buster for a while. it worked fine when I last used it 3 years ago. If I needed it, I'd spend the time freeing it up, but I don't need it.

Rotary spreader for fertilizer and weed killer products. Looks a little funky, but still works fine. I bought a new one with the edging feature.

These will get tossed to make room in the shed. I thought someone may want them.

Cast iron tub. It is sitting in my yard, and looks like it had been left there for a while before we bought the house. I don't know if someone would want to refurb it for something or just turn it in for scrap. Come and get it and it's yours.

great idea bill! especially since in my town they charge me for every thing i put out ($35.00 sticker if it's larger than a 32 gal. barrel.) i might be interested in the spreader if it is still available. i can always zaino it if it looks tired.

It is. the paint on the metal tube frame is rusty, so Zaino won't help. i'd just use it as is.

I have an old iMac, the kind with a built in CRT. It has OS9 and works, but umm, it's slow and has like a 4gb HD. It doesn't come with a keyboard or mouse. I have no idea what to do with it as it's kinda useless, but someone might have a use for it.

A 5 x 8 rug with flowers on it. Erick doesn't want it. Park your car on it if you want. It's going to get dumped soon. It's in good shape, I just did a re-do and it doesn't work with the new "decor."

You can see the edges of it in this pic. It's kind of "girlie", but someone may have a use for it. If any interest I'll take another pic.

Note: Shoe shine girl does not come with the rug.
