Default Federal Hill Providence, RI

So we're going out to eat next weekend with our neighbors. We would like to go to Federal Hill and have some really yummy Italian food. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to go? We're looking for a nice place to eat with good food and reasonably priced. Throw out your recommendations!!!

Anyone every been to Andino's?

Not sure how close it is, but according to Bob, Christina(Kristina) has very good Italian foods. It is also a BYOB place.

Check out Waterfire. There are some links to restaurants there as well.

If you can't find a good local place, I personally am a big fan of
Carrabba's. Good Italian food and I would say a little more upscale
than your average chain restaurant. Also a good wine selection.

I used to live on fedral hill. Go to the "old canteen" its the first restraunt on the left if you just got off the highway. Its the type of place where the chef comes and introduces himself, he's also the owner. Some other places down the street are the "oyster bar" "prime" But i have been to the old canteen and the food was superb.

if you want traditional italian, you can't go wrong with

ANDINO'S

(401) 453-3164
171 ATWELLS AVE

CAMILLE'S ROMAN GARDEN

(401) 751-4812
71 BRADFORD ST

If you want old school italian you have to go to

Casa Christine

Featuring succulent veal, chicken, seafood, pasta dishes. The luxury of bringing your own spirits. No Credit Cards.
Lunch Tu-F 11:30 - 2:30 Dinner tu-F 5-8:30 Sat 4 - 8:30
Wheelchair Access (401) 453-6255
145 Spruce St

BUT - it's cash only, BYOB, expect some attitude from Christine, the menu is on a chaulkboard on the wall and you have to get there before 7:30pm

Thanks for all the recommendations!

Reservations for Andino's for Saturday!

I'll have to add the others to list of places to try.
