Adam and I did the drive today. It's really very simple. The original instructions a few posts up are good. There are a few things that I do want to point out.
1) You are going to get off of 287 South at exit 17. Please do not be confused by the signs at exit 22. Exit 22 also leads onto 206/202, but that is not where you want to get off.
2) After you pass Exit #37 you should stay to your left. The road splits and you want to be on the left side. You can exit from the right side roadway as well, but it is not as clean. Stay to your left and exit 17 will be to the left.
3) After you get off of 287 (at exit 17) you will get onto 202/206. Your exit onto Commons way is the first exit and it comes up quickly. Follow the signs to Bridgewater Commons Mall.
4) Once you are on Commons Way you will pass a Best Buy/TJ Maxx on your left. The entrance to Bridgewater Commons Mall comes up very quickly on the right.
5) After you enter the mall, turn left on the perimeter road past a Bloomingdales and a multilevel parking lot. Macys is immediately after the multilevel lot.
After you pass about exit 39 on 287 there are cops everywhere. There are cop turnarounds everywhere. Keep your eyes open. These are NJ State Troopers. They can't be reasoned with and they are not reasonable. In addition to the normal marked cars they drive white and black unmarked Chevy Impalas and Ford Crown Vics. Be careful. They raise a lot of money on this stretch of road.
I am leaving from northern NJ with Leftlane at about 12:30 and plan to be at Bridgewater Commons at about 1:30. If you get there a few minutes before 2 it would give you a chance to use the bathrooms and grab a snack. Some of us from Metro NYC will already be there and there will always be one of us there to keep an eye on the cars.
I sent this to Bass as a pm. I am going to put this in the Caravan to FC thread so that all of you will see this.
