I wish I could go :-( I talked to my insurance and they told me they won't cover me or the car during any such activity - does not make sense to me but that's what they say. If I had a job right now, i would still risk going there.

Is someone willing to teach me a few tricks on the road?

Autocrosses are just a matter of driving around cones in an open parking lot. Unless you intentionally drive to the edge of the course, the only thing you hit are cones.

I hope you were kidding about teaching you tricks on the road - there are many more things that could go wrong and things you could hit on the road!
