I like the idea of one place to find all the info, sort of like a calander with links to threads with details. I would also like a place (sort of a banner) that tells me what the next scheduled event is and how many days to go before it. But, this is just me, I never look at the top notes section cause somehow I expect it to have notes

I like each event to have its own sticky - It's just easy access to the specific thread - one click and I always know where to find it. When the even passes then it gets unstuck and falls.

My .02 is to create one event sticky with links to individual threads that are not stickied. Then, incorporate a link in the sticky to that google calandar and we are set.
All the info where you need it and no clutter.

I really like the google calendar idea as well. Can we throw a strip club meet on our schedule for the summer? This sort of meet has been sorely lacking.
