Currently the cat's name is Gilbert or.. Gilly. But... the cat is only a year old or so. I figure it'll get used to a change. Something that sounds sorta like either of those names might be better. "Kitty" sounds a little like Gilly, that might work for now.

Honestly, I've never seen a cat that knew it's actual name. It just seems to know that it's being talked at, and if it looks at the person talking and sees them looking back at them, they respond accordingly.
