Mark, sometimes they do take a while to pick up a signal...it just happens. One thing we we like about the GPS is getting from place to place once we reach a destination. You need a car wash, it will find one for you. You want to eat, specify fast food, even Italian, and it will find it for you. I would not be without one now that we have one....
Found a gas station for me after I left your house on Saturday night Lainey.

Speaking of Saturday's route, were you able to plug that into your GPS
Lainey or did you just go by knowledge of the route or your paperwork?

All of the above are great - I'd like to add the A55hat who tosses their cig butts out the window at me. I hate when they get stuck in my grill.

No, our GPS is by destination/location only. You can enter intersections, but can only have two destinations at once. The ending destination and a "via" point.

Rick did the route by using Google maps, adding a stop/destination when he wanted turns....He knows the area well, so it didn't take too long...We printed it up, pre drove the route, verified the mileages on each road by the trip odometer, then I typed it up.

How about for you motorcycle folks, when you're behind a car and they
decide to empty the windshield washer reservoir on their windshield!?!?

Do they NOT realize it goes all over the poor guy on the bike behind them????

I guess it all comes back to a lack of consideration for others.
