They won the F1 team and driver championship two years in a row
Their regular cars are crappy but their F1 team is pretty good

one of the companies I worked at did the IR cameras that mclaren used to monitor brake rotor temperature.

on the street


and in it's normal state. torn down waiting for yet another rebuild.

i got a chance to play with one of these back in 82 in cambridge of all places.

there just something about crossing the mass ave bridge north of a buck and listening to the expansion joints going smacka smacka smacka under the wheels.

to this day, that was one of the quickest things I've ever driven.
0-15 slow, 15-60 painfully quick. once you got the snail spun up ohmawgawd
