A basic DVD player is not what it used to be. We bought one from Bestbuy, I think it is a Toshiba (not sure, I will check tonight), it skips and sometimes, I doesn't even play "new DVDs".

For $50, I know we can't ask for much but at least it should work, right?

I picked up a walmart 30 dollar magnavox unit.

nice little unit.

not much for features, but it plays DVD's

I recently got the Western Digital TV Media Player. Just hookup a thumb drive or hard drive via usb and you can watch till your hearts content. That is all the legally bought movies

erick they say you can add a huge hard drive with fat32 (whatever that means) so do you know how to partition an external hard drive?
