Default Drove 116 in Conway tonight!

Well, the weather was absolutely gorgeous tonight, so I had to go out on 112/116 for a cruise. I snapped some pics at the Town Library in Conway.

Enjoy!

Oh yea, I must add this.

There is some construction / milled road on 116 between Deerfield and Ashfield, I hope this gets straightened out before the Mohawk drive. It sucks slowing down from a 50 mph run into a 1st gear roll over milled road.

Yes lets hope so. We pass right by that library on our drive. Beautiful country out there. Did you do rt 8a north? Thats a good one and it connects to rt 2.

Did not do 8A last night, however I have done it a million times. I am VERY familiar with this area, just have not done it in the S yet!

Yup, been cruising like mad lately with the nice weather rolling in. I usually cruise along the Storrow Drive/Memorial Drive/Comm Ave/Mt Auburn/Rte 2 area near the Brighton area. If you see a MY '00 Silverstone, that's me! Funny because I cruised on over to a buddy of mine last night and let him drive it for the first time. He had wondered why anyone would want to buy an S. Well, after an hour of cruising on the highway, local roads with the top down, warm weather and great music...well, let's just say when we finished and he got out, he said..."It's a fun car to drive". Something tells me I don't think he'll ever question why someone would want to buy this car anymore. And he owns a beamer.

Thats funny your friend acted that way, my father had an identical reaction after I let him take the S for a spin. Oh BTW, he could not get enough of VTEC, hehe.

(To my mother after the drive) "I think I am going to buy one of those, wow are they fun!"

Honda's best kept secret.

I get people walk up to me when I am gassing and they say, "That's a Honda? I didnt know they made a car like the Miata." ARRRGGGG, its starts out nice and ends up soft.
I always retort that it is nothing like the Miata, this is a really hard sports car, the Miata is a much cheaper car that does not have the true racing characteristics of the S.

well that's not all bad.
We don't hear about crackdowns on street racing sports cars...i'm sure someone out there would want to make some political hay if they knew.

yep i'm cynical but that don't mean it ain't so.
