Many other area forums run more "by the books" than New England. Many more rules on selling "cars and stuff."
Politics are NOT allowed and political threads are moved to the political forum, where, I think (not sure) you might have to be a member to participate.
Vintage (because we're special
) has a sub-forum created for political topics, as the political threads were thought best removed from the general area....too much hostility at times. Yet folks still whine and biatch when a post gets moved because "it's not political."

I for one would happily love to see the political threads here moved to politics very much so. But would i ask for it no. they like all threads here that dont violate tos should just be left alone.
