How do you get a picture like this on a cake. Is it actually edible or just decorative?

It was edible. Some kind of rice paper. Shaws' Supermarket did the cake. You bring in the pic, they scan it, and you get the pic back.

I'll have to think of a good pic for our cake for this year's cookout.
