Default Dinner down the Cape tonight?

One of the Vintage guys from PA is coming into town tonight. I think Lainey, Rick, Barbara, and I are going to hook up with our out of town buddies somewhere around Buzzards Bay. Maybe the Shaws restaurant which is at the last exit just before you go over the Bourne Bridge, maybe somewhere else. Anyway, we are thinking sometime around 6:30. Barbara and I are heading down there now, but most folks have my cell phone and can give me a call if they are interested in meeting up. If you don't have my cell, post a request here. I hereby authorize people with my number to give it out to known members. Please don't give it out to trolls. If Lainey wants to tend this thread today, she can do so and try to organize this better than I have.

If people want to drive down the cape now and help me work on my boat, give me a call

Hi Folks!

Come to dinner with the Vintage people!!

Jerry is hoping to be in Buzzard's Bay around 6:00 P.M.

Bill has mentioned Shaw's which would be a good meeting place, easy to find, not expensive. I'm not sure it's still Shaw's though. I also had a couple other places in mind, will know more later.

If you want to join us, call me later on my cell 508 264-0754 for details.

Thanks Lainey. I can't remember what they changed the name to, but you are right, it isn't Shaws anymore. It is, however, the only place within 50 miles that has a huge tugboat in the parking lot. (Yeah, I know, I said I was leaving about an hour ago and I'm still here...)

Bill,

Are they still the same type of restaurant? Counter service grab a table?

Jerry is hoping to arrive around 6:00. I've sent him a PM and will call his cell phone later to confirm a place.

I also thought of Bailey's, Lindsey's or even Fonzie's diner, just a bit west on Route 6.

Any thoughts on which he might like, though Shaw's is OK with us.

The house stuff can wait for tomorrow. It's going to rain tomorrow too.

Unless the house is that bad?

You guys were at the cape too?!

G350Z had a meet today over at the Cape. Rented out a spot in the park, had a cop doing detail, raffle/auction/3 hr cruise/car show/lobster party..

I'm amazed I didn't see any of you guys if you were at the Cape.

We were just there for a quick dinner at the Pilot House (the place with the tug boat in the lot). Only three couples, plus one very nice young lady, and only one S in the parking lot.

Ben sorry you missed us. The weather yesterday didn't turn out to be all that bad after all.
