On the Saturday evening, there will be a buffet banquet at the hotel. While some may not care for the banquet idea, it IS the easiest way to feed a larger group. The cost is $30.00/person.

The buffet will have a chicken dish, Garlic Rosemary Crusted Pork Loin, and Boston Crumb Baked Scrod as the main dishes. There will also be a salad, vegetables and potato, as well as cheesecake with strawberries for dessert.

Payment is required in advance.

If you are interested in attending, here is the info regarding payment:

Send a check for $30 per person to: Ellen Emerson, Vermont Web Programmers, 63 Maple Street Ste 9W, Middlebury, VT 05753.

Money is refundable up to 7 days before the event if you need to cancel. Payment MUST be received no later than 7 days before the event if you wish to attend.

 

I won't be doing the banquet so no need to same a spot for me.

Looks like there are others that won't be doing the banquet. I could possibly join them in a restaurant if they let me.

I just never like pre-cooked buffet banquet food. But you know how big a snob I am when it comes to food. I wouldn't mind if someone could sneak out a piece of cheesecake for me though

 

I hear ya, but with organizing a meet of any kind you try to keep people together, once the group exceeds 25 + people, it gets difficult to go to a restaurant and feed everyone at once........ so you end up with a banquet.....

I understand banquets aren't for everyone, but Ellen is on the hook for some cash for this banquet, so I DO hope we have enough people who are interested in participating.

It's not the food, it's the people........but you food snobs can go elsewhere. We'll see you at the bar afterwards.
