Dining in a restaurant in a booth
When dining out with only your +1, do you sit on the same side of the booth, or across from each other?
I always have thought it weird when people sit on the same side of a booth. It's easier to converse with the person if they are across from you, but that's my .02.

generally I hate booths.
the seating messes up my back...
but with that said, most of the time we'll sit opposite unless we're being romantic

I don't know we like booths, and we NEVER EVA sit on the same side. We can wait until later to get romantic, unlike Jerry, apparently.

I usually like booths better. But we went to Ponderosa yesterday and they only give you like 6" between the table and seat back. It was tight!!!
I guess they do that so you don't go up to the buffet too many times

Some tables are too close to other folks for my liking. Especially the ones that have one long bench seat, then they just line up tables in front of them.
We say, no thanks to those seats, and wait for a booth or a table where we don't feel like we are having dinner with people we don't know.
