Default Cutting OEM hood

I read some forums on cutting the OEM hood and adding the mesh inserts. I am interested in doing this and was wondering if anyone here in NE did this.

Easy to do , I have done it on many cars

You cant use a grinder or you will burn the paint . I use a air saw to do it and a file
