ok we can let the cat out of the bag -
Jeff is on "heck of a Manager"
cubby knew we were looking for a new person to help out with accounting work at my company and even though he's gonna be screwed without this person he thought it was in her best intreast to work in the corp world with better pay / oppertunities for her in the long run - Jeff sent her down for an interview and she knocked the socks of her new direct report and my boss.
so while Jeff is losing a key employee - we are getting a postion filled and look forward to working with this person
the funny thing - the new h/r VP hired a consultant to help him fill a number of new jobs at dynisco at BIG $$$$$ and all the guy has done is place ads on CL
and he hasn't brought in anyone worth looking at. whereas Cubby sends one key person and in a matter of twenty minutes the a/p manager and controller are so impressed they offer her a job in 30 minutes
so no $$$$ for the consultant and a nice steak dinner for cubs
