Last Friday I went to put the top down in my '00 S2k only to find that the whole plastic window had cracked. There is also a small rip by the latch on the driver's side...aka time for a new top. I am looking at the EZ ON replacement top from Topsonline.com with the glass window (no defrost). I live in the North Shore but am willing to travel a bit. Does anyone know a good place? Thanks.

I had mine installed by a place in lawrence MA. did very well on the install.

We have a tech here that does all of our softtop replacements, i've seen him do two, if you want get some quotes elsewhere i can see if he's interested in doing it.

I had a place recommended in Lawrence but they wanted $2,050(!!!) for the job. It was almost double other estimates for the exact same top. Do you know the name of your place?

Yes it does. I got a quote for $1050 and $1300 for the exact same top. Why would I pay $2k???

i got a quote for $1050. Then looked at a write up on how to do it and ill be doing it myself lol. Looks simple and will have glass for $550

I did mine a few years ago. Took a weekend. Nothing really hard, but you do have to take most of the interior apart. I actually replaced the stock top with one that had a glass window, it was a great upgrade.
