i wanna bring this back up i never took the delay out and it seems like the car is slippin more and more... now that it has over 20k do u think it has burnt out the clutch to bad that taking the delay out would be worthless and make my clutch slip even worse
hopefully SCOTT chimes in!

Matt have you've been trying to smoke the tires?? if so with the delay - you'll burn your clutch up a lot quicker with then without delay..

a new cluch installed will run you about $1500.00

also you might want to check your clutch fluid

Matt,Take a good look at your tires. 21K on the rears is not the norm. Rick is a Vintage driver, no burn outs (that I know of ) and we replaced the rears at 17K. Don't take a chance on the tires, it can bite you you know where.

If you want to take the delay out let me know $65 takes it out

I can take car of you on the clutch too if you think you need a new one . For a aftermarket clutch around $650 your choice of disc Labor is $600

You might be able to save the clutch once it is out and it has a few miles on it without slipping . I have burnt my clutch one day and went auto-xing the next with out a problem .

Cubs I never lifted in my AP1 when I am driving agressive , hense the 2nd and 3rd gear chirps you were amazed to hear . Its all timing and speed with the clutch and the shifter . I had it down that I could stomp the clutch at 8900 shift it and never let off the gas and the car never hit the rev limiter .

very good price for aftermarket and labor!

im installing a new clutch on my ap1 right now. (never let a DSM driver who cant afford to replace broken parts take your car for a spin )

balise honda wanted $1800 for an oem replacement.
