Sure they've spun, I've just never felt the need to drop the clutch at 6k+ rpm to perform a burnout. If you feel that need, go right ahead, it's your car after all.

I agree with Erick - i have never burned out either of my s2ks BUT that's not to say you can't. It's your car, tires, and driveshaft!!

If you want to really learn how to do a burn out in an s2k talk to either Max aka Speedfrk (have a look at the Nor Easter logo in my sig line, that's max in the yellow one) or Scott. Max left a patch in front of my house that must have been 100 yards long a few years ago and the marks are still there

Or the axle ... doah ... just ask Drew at Tech2. First launch showing off his car ... snap!!!

Legal Bill mentioned he does this all the time at Auto-Cross to "warm" the tires. He's probably left more rubber behind then a ..... oh, god this line can't end well. Must stop before put foot in mouth.

I had a clutch delay valve in the M3 and its night and day in regards to having it and not having it. especially going into first and second. Just like Scott said, you can control and feel the engagement of the clutch better.
