Default Clay Bar is amazing!

For those that haven't used a clean clay bar to detail their car you just don't know what your missing. I have detailed cars for years and NOTHING amazes me still except what a properly used clay bar can do to the finish. I had a friend come over and wipe their hand clean then put it on the cars finish. They said MAN IT FEELS SOFT! That's how clean and nice a finish a clay bar can make your car.

I do this yearly after the winter to get it back to that show room finish.

My step by step.
Wash car.
All Zymol Products:
HD Cleans entire car.
Clay Bar with lots of spray and cleaning all the time. Pick out the dirt and other gung that accumulates. Entire Car.
HD Cleans entire car AGAIN.
Then wipe down car with micro fiber car for good measure.
Wax the whole thing.(goes on and comes off nicely)
Cover car over to sit for 24 hours.........then wax again.

After this it's time to feed the leather and 303 the top. Dress up the tires and let that all sit for another 24 hours. Then sometime I will do all the seals around the car and pull the tires off to clean up the brakes. While I am there I am going to silicone spray the CV boots.

Lot's of work but the results are amazing!

Pinky,

That is awesome, but I hope you have a garage. It would be a shame to put that much work into cleaning your car and then have it get rained on or covered w/ pollen. I washed my car saturday morning and by saturday afternoon it was green from pollen. Also, I'm really glad to hear about another Zymol guy on this website everyone seems to be Zaino people around here. Which Zymol wax do you use?

Clay is indeed good stuff. It can even do wonders for an old POS.

Therein lies the rub... You actually have to wash the car. Between pulling poison ivy out of my yard and watching the kids, when is that supposed to happen.
