Changing front parking light bulbs
Hi,
I am changing out my parking bulbs. I know you need to go through the wheel well.
Are there any tricks you guys have found to make this easier? The clearance seems really tight.
Thanks,
James

I haven't changed the parking bulbs but have changed the headlight bulbs. If the parking bulbs you're referring to are also accessible in the same area, then I can give you some advice.
First jack up the car to give you more room to work with. Some people like to use a method where they turn their wheel left or right depending on which side they're trying to access but I just removed the wheels because imo it's much easier and gives you more space to work with.
First you need to unhook the splash guards under the car. There are screws that hold it on to the bumper as well as the center splash guard and from the wheel well lining.
Once you're done with that, taking a flathead screwdriver, start popping out the fender clips, starting from the front, carefully (they break easily) by inserting the flathead into the notch on the clips and lifting about 1/4' until pops open. You don't have to remove all of them, only enough to get through.
Shimmy the fender out of the way by pull down and towards the car to get it out from behind the bumper.
You should be cleared now and have access to the headlight bulbs. Just repeat everything backwards to put it back together and do the samething for the other side.
