Lainey, I may not be able to attend

I got signed back in for full duty today and I don't know if I will be able to get the time off so soon. I will know by Wednesday.
Tell 'em you already had this on your schedule a week before they put you
back on full duty. May or may not work, who knows, but worth a shot.

I'm not.

Actually, Ira had said Bruce didn't want everyone to be in black/mourning, but I've not heard back from him if there is a "dress code" so to speak.

Right now, Rick is not planning on wearing a suit.

If you hear back from Ira be sure to post up Lainey.

I will probably just wear what I wore last time, black pants, shoes
and a polo shirt.

I was going to try and find a spa yellow shirt to wear...what is
everyone's opinion on that?

Thanks for coordinating all of this for us!

I'd say a spa yellow shirt would be an appropriate part of this celebration.

A little update and the info you may need.

Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Rollstone Church, 199 Main St. Fitchburg, MA 01420 (978) 342-0432
Ira is requesting that we show up around 10:45, so that the cars will be lined up when the other people arrive at the church. He would like the cars all facing in one direction, with Bruce's in the opposite direction. It would be nice if we could be by our respective vehicles when the folks arrive for the celebration. If weather does not permit this, we'll come up with a "Plan B."

There will be a funeral director in the vicinity, when you arrive, should you have questions as to where to park.

Thanks.

Ira has stressed the fact that this is a celebration of Bruce's life. There is no need wear somber black/dark clothing, he'd actually prefer that you do not. If you have a decent shirt with the S2000 logo, or something along that line, that would be great.

PS Lynda is making some lapel ribbons for us. If you have an S pin, please bring it along, it might work well with the ribbon.

If you want to buy one go here: S pins Tell Larry Lainey sent you. He ships quickly!

OK everyone - Saturday is fast approaching and the weather does not look all that great.

Please let us know if you are still planning on being in attendance.

We understand life gets in the way sometimes and unforseen circumstances arise, but it's important that we be there for Bruce's celebration and for Ira.

Bruce was extremely pleased with the S representation at Bob's services and it's only right that we honor him in the same way.

Please do not let the weather be a deterent. Let's show Bruce how much we care!
