I wanted one most of my adult life, as soon as I bought my house I started shopping for one. they are called the Gentle Giants, they are very easy going cats, which is a good thing, because at that size ya don't want to have an argument with one. Mine is nowhere close to that big... Leo is like 36 pounds, my Ganzo is "only" about 21.

Kitchen counters are all a standard height, Ganzo can stand up and put his chin on the counter as he looks for what he can pull off onto the floor. And let me tell ya, a beer cap turned sharp edges up is not a nice thing to step on in the middle of the night in the dark...
