George, you can get a compact flash GPS antenna with PCMICA card adapter. If you search ebay for "CF GPS" you will find auctions that offer a package deal with those two items and sometimes they even throw in an external antenna, which if you use a laptop, you will almost certainly need because GPS works on line of sight (ie. the antenna must be able to "see" the satelite"). The whole package deal will cost about $120. I have all these parts and will show them to you at the meet.

Thanks Rex! I am definitely interested in something like that.

Victor, With the laptop I can even put it in the passenger footwell since it will be on a 15" screen.

Fwiw, I have had bad experience w/ Pharos GPS stuff. Couldn't get signal even at rural area like Fishkill, NY (Fall Colors '02).

Thanks Ben. Where'd you find it? I went back a couple of pages and couldn't locate it.

It was the first thread in the second page when I looked for it. You must've just missed it.

Weather is so nice today I'm wishing I scheduled this meet for today. Oh well. At least I am driving my S outside again.
